The Mission of AEOE
The Association for Environmental and Outdoor Education supports and
inspires educators in their quest for the knowledge, skills, and attitudes essential to
help all learners understand, appreciate and care for their environment. As an integral
part of achieving our mission, we encourage direct experience outdoors.
Purpose: AEOE
(the Association for Environmental and Outdoor Education) is dedicated to the education of
children and to helping them increase their awareness and understanding of their natural
environment. This organization believes in the potential of education to help children
perceive and understand environmental principles and problems.
