Alberta Institute for Wildlife Conservation (AIWC) is a registered charity and
non-profit society that has been operating a wildlife hospital since 1993. We
are located northwest of Calgary, Alberta, Canada and services Calgary, southern
Alberta and the Northwest Territories.
AIWC's mandate is to contribute to
wildlife conservation in Alberta by:
1) Providing comprehensive and humane
rehabilitation for injured and orphaned wildlife.
2) Promoting awareness and
encouraging greater stewardship of native wildlife through engaging educational
programs.
3) Researching wildlife issues that improve rehabilitation
protocols and support the broader scientific community.
4)Helping people by
offering a humane pest control option with biology-based intervention.
