Ballymacrown Homestead provides the ideal setting for a self-catering holiday
in the stunning scenery of West Cork. The cottages are set in an acre of grounds
with views to the mountains and across countryside to the sea and Mizen Head.
Situated between the popular harbour village of Baltimore, with regular ferry
services to Sherkin Island and Cape Clear (bird sanctuary); and Loch Ine (Lough
Hyne), Ireland's first marine nature reserve.
Ballymacrown Homestead is
family run offering real hospitality. We aim to support the local economy by
buying local, free-range and fair-trade produce for the welcome packs, whilst
striving to limit the impact on the environment through use of ecological
cleaning products and providing recycling facilities.
