BMWAS is located in southern Colorado on approximately 260 acres and is
dedicated to providing a home where neglected, abused or rescued animals can
live out their lives. BMWAS primary effort is toward larger animals however,
many feline and canine animals are also residents. BMWAS is operated solely by
private donations and donations have been determined by the IRS to be tax
