Big Bear Farms, Inc.(BBFI) is a family owned and operated blueberry farm located
in central Florida that started as a conventional operation in 1990. By 1991 we
had stopped using any chemical pesticides in our production fields. The only
thing that kept us from being organic was our use of regular chemical
fertilizers.That stopped in 2004 and we are now producing only 100% ORGANIC
crops. We meet the NOP regulations by using NO synthetic HERBICDES, FUNGICIDES,
MITICIDES, INSECTICIDES or any other PESTICIDES on our bushes and Only NOP, OMRI
& QCS APPROVED ORGANIC fertilizers are used.
We take pride in our ability to
provide the small individual customer with that personal touch in the growing,
harvesting and packing that they deserve in supplying the needs of their
families. ** No order is too small and only USDA #1 QUALITY is served. Orders
are for farm pick up only and berries are sold by the flat or pound(lb.). We are
also open some days for U-PICK. Call for Information.
