I became a birth Doula after my first baby was born back in 1982. I realized
that every woman needed more support than our current medical system could
provide. I have spent the last 26 years by the side of women supporting and
advocating for them as they go through the transition of Birth. The last 10
years as a certified Doula by DONA. I absolutely love my work. It is my life
passion to be a Birth Doula. I believe in empowering women to believe in their
bodies ability to give birth in their own special way each different and unique.
Our bodies are amazing! The day of birth is a life changing event and powerful
moment in a woman's life. I want to give her every comfort she deserves to have
a peaceful empowering experience she can take into the rest of her life. When
women give birth they realize how incredible they are and after that anything is
possible.
