CCOF certifies and supports organic farmers, processors, retailers, and wholesalers who
comply with our industry-setting standards and those required by state and national laws.
Our inspectors examine the crops, the land, the facility, the process, and the paperwork.
Their inspection reports are reviewed by two different groups of experts.
CCOF
publishes a certification handbook detailing our standards, a membership directory, and
quarterly newsletter available to members and supporting members. We also offer an
apprenticeship program, a supporting membership program, out-reach to our communities, and
advocacy for the organic industry.
