Colchester Farm CSA produces a wide range of vegetables, herbs, flowers, and
fruit for approximately 170 CSA members, local farmers' markets, and local
restaurants. The CSA leases 15 acres of land from Colchester Farm LLC, a 350
acre farm located on the Sassafras River, a tributary of the Chesapeake Bay, on
Maryland's eastern shore. The CSA is in its twelfth season of operation in
2014!
Each year, Colchester Farm CSA offers internships
to individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in sustainable
vegetable production and the marketing of produce through a Community Supported
Agriculture project.
