Certified doula and
certified childbirth instructor. Connie is a DONA-Approved Doula Trainer who
offers workshops for those who wish to become doulas or Lamaze childbirth
educators across the country. In her 17 years of experience she has worked as a
doula in the U.S. and England at 500 births in over 30 hospitals and attended
birth at nearly 100 homes. She believes in freedom of choice based on knowledge
of the alternatives. As a doula she hopes to help mothers feel loved and
pampered. She works to remind partners of the many ways they can comfort and
support the mother. She is passionately concerned with helping to create a
joy-filled birth experience that provides babies with the warmest welcome. She
teaches both private and hospital-based childbirth classes. She serves Marin,
Napa and Sonoma Counties as well as San Francisco.
