Many large animals have nowhere to go when found, rescued from horrible
conditions or abandoned. Horses, goats, cattle, hogs, pot bellied pigs, emu, and
other large animals are turned down at shelters, or kept for just a few days
before being euthanized. We call these animals the "Fall through the cracks
animals" Cotton Branch Animal Sanctuary has rescued over 100 animals this year.
Some of the young are adopted out to loving families, but most of the old, sick
and injured live out their days in sunny pastures, with warm shelter, healthy
food, medical attention, love and companionship.
