EV Rental Cars is the only strictly environmental vehicle rental company in the United
States. Co-located with Fox Rent a Car, the company rents natural gas and hybrid
electric vehicles to travelers.
EV Rental Cars founded the rental program in December,
1998 with eleven cars at Los Angeles Airport, and since then the fleet has grown to more
than 250 cars at seven locations including Phoenix, San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose,
Orange County and San Diego.
