We are a small farm growing fruit, flowers, vegetables, and herbs for local
farmers' markets as well as our CSA. In 2006 we had about 80 subscribers and in
2007 we hope to have about 150. We offer limited delivery, but most of our
subscribers pick up their produce on the farm.
Our CSA runs for 20 weeks from
early June through October. We deliver to Elgin and Wheaton or you may pick up
at our farm just west of Geneva. We plan to grow a full range of produce and
herbs and also have cut flowers, potted herbs and perennials, and vegetable
seedlings available.
We plan to grow many types of greens all season and pick
these the morning of delivery or pickup at our farm. This year we hope to
harvest nearly 50 types of heirloom tomatoes.
We use only organic approved
pesticides and a minimum amount of commercial fertilizer. We are committed to
practicing sustainable farming methods
