Federal non-profit ferret shelter and adoption agency serving the southwest and
southcentral Idaho, Northern Utah, and Western Oregon areas. We are located in
N. Caldwell, Idaho outdide the Metro Boise area.Founded in 2001, we have
successfully found homes for more than 500 ferrets. All ferrets are vet checked,
spayed/neutered, treated for parasites, given Canine Distemper shots, and any
necessary surgeries are given. Education on ADV and care of ferrets is our
primary concern. Essential Ferret Services of Idaho and its shelter are official
partners with the Idaho Humane Society, Canyon County Animal Control, the former
Pacific Ferret Shelter Network, PetSmart and Petco, and is an official Idaho
Community Foundation charity recipient.
