Birth is sacred and transformative. I am passionate about birth and believe in
women’s innate ability, strength and power to give birth. Studies indicate that
home is the safest, most gentle place for a healthy woman to birth her baby. For
some healthy women a birth center is a great alternative to homebirth.
As
your birth doula, taking care of your needs is my only focus and responsibility.
I am also a Nationally Certified Licensed Massage Therapist specializing in
pregnancy massage. During pregnancy, labor and postpartum, specific techniques
reduce discomforts and enhance mom and baby’s well-being. Massage reduces
harmful stress hormones and gives special attention to the mother-to-be, which
in turn nurtures the baby that grows within you.
Pregnancy massage prepares
your body, mind and spirit for birth.
