Our coffee is 100% organic, bought directly from small-farmer cooperatives under
the terms of Fair Trade. Thanks to chef John Stephenson's focus on seasonal and
local cuisine and pastry chef Lisa Bachman's clever creations, the 13-year-old
Fido has emerged as a favorite all-day pet among serious foodies. Chef John has
created a daily menu full of vegetarian, fish and meat options that range from
simple eggs to tamales. The overall company is Bongo World which has other
coffee shops and cafes in Nashville - Bongo Java, Cafe East, and Grins
Vegetarian Cafe. Our flagship store, Bongo Java, has recycled paper, cardboard,
cans, bottles and plastic since Day 1. Soon we will have a more comprehensive
recycle program at all our operations.
