The Friends for the Dearborn Animal Shelter (FFDAS) is a private, non-profit
organization dedicated to serving the animals and the community since 1993. The
mission of the Friends is to provide loving care and sancutary to animals;
encourage adoptions and reunions; and to promote respect, responsibility, and
compassion for all animals. FFDAS strive to provide best care practices for all
the animals in our care and meet our goal of saving all adoptable animals. FFDAS
also provides many community outreach programs to enhance the welfare of animals
in our community. Donations of finanacial support or supplies and volunteer
