Green Dirt Farm is a small grass-fed sheep dairy and creamery located near
Kansas City in Weston, Missouri. Our cheeses are made using the milk from our
own grass-fed, gently raised, ewes. The diverse grasses of our pastures flavor
our ewe�s milk with hints of clover, legumes and flowers. The flavors in our
milk change as the pastures grow, creating cheeses that uniquely reflect our
farm and the changing seasons.
In addition to a commitment to making great
cheese, we are dedicated to maintaining high standards of humane treatment for
our animals and thoughtful stewardship of our land. Because of our farming
practices and philosophies, our farm has undergone a strict audit and received
approval from the Animal Welfare Approved organization. We believe that a
nurturing cycle of good land stewardship, animal care and gentle milking creates
a sustainable source for the finest possible dairy products � something that we
are proud to provide to our community.
