HealthyPlanet promotes food choices and lifestyles that respect our bodies and
our shared environment.
Our programs include a Dinner/Lecture Series --
the premier showcase on LI for speakers from around the country on topics
relating to health, the environment and important social issues.
Our
Healthy School Lunch Program- - created to assist parents & administrators to
motivate young people to make nutritionally sound food choices. We coach and
support motivated individuals so they can make a difference in their school
district.
We're part of The Suffolk County Cancer Awareness Task Force,
working with officials to raise awareness about the power of prevention; and in
networks that aim to transform LI into a leader in creating innovative solutions
to the energy and climate crisis
