I'm a DONA International trained birth doula serving the High Desert, Apple
Valley, Victorville, Hesperia, and
Barstow primarily, but my work does take me
to the Los Angeles area as well as the Inland Empire. I would love to help you
or your loved one have the best experience possible as you experience and
cherish the birth of new life.
As a doula I provide:
Emotional Support;
encouragement, reassurance, continuous physical presence
Informational Support;
assistance to families in gathering information about the course of their labor
and their options, explanations, non-medical advice
Physical Support; comfort
measures, positioning, massage, breathing, relaxation, and other
non-pharmacological pain relief measures
Advocacy; interpreting the woman's
wishes to hospital staff
Parnter Support; role modeling, encouragement,
reassurance
