The Humane Society of Missouri is committed to the prevention of cruelty, abuse
and neglect of animals in St. Louis and the state of Missouri through its
adoption centers, veterinary medical centers and large-animal rehabilitation
center; rescue and investigation units-St.Louis and statewide divisions; and
community outreach and humane education programs.
Our Longmeadow Rescue Ranch
is 165 acres located southwest of Union, Missouri. All types of horses and farm
type animals (cows, pigs, potbellied pigs, goats, sheep, fowl and some exotic
animals) are rehabilitated and adopted into caring homes.
Longmeadow Rescue
Ranch hosts Open House/Adoption Days Fridays noon-3 p.m. and Saturdays 11 a.m.-3
p.m. If you are interested in meeting our adoptable animals or our Barn Buddies
who are available for sponsorhip, please visit the ranch on one of these days or
call 636-583-8759 to schedule a visit on another day.
