Interspecies Communication Inc (IC) mixes art with activism to re-invigorate
the human species perceptual, and cultural ties with nature. Our ongoing field
projects give artists the opportunity to interact directly with animals and
habitat through music, media, wilderness community and personal quest. Over 32
years, IC has emerged as a leader in a movement to re-locate the society's
aesthetic center back to the Earth. IC is a 501c3 non-profit founded in 1978 and
supported entirely by members and foundations. We have sponsored field projects
with beluga whales in Arctic Russia, and with orcas in western Canada
