The Midland S.P.C.A. is a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to the
welfare of animals, serving Midland and West Texas since 1948. We operate a
low-cost spay/neuter clinic & offer a monthly shot clini. We offer animals
for adoption and we have educational literature. The objectives of the Midland
S.P.C.A. are to provide an alternative shelter for those pets which have been
previously owned or abandoned in order to allow needed time for adoption not
available at most animal control facilities; to promote surgical sterilization
as a means of population control. To protect, and prevent cruelty to animals, to
cooperate with Municipal, State and County authorities in prevention of cruelty
to animals, and in prosecuting, according to law such persons as may be guilty;
to disseminate educational information and promotion of animal welfare
