NHB builds energy efficient homes in western Montana to save carbon pollution
and to provide a safe and healthy invironment for people to reside. We are
building to the Passivhaus standard. We recomend smaller homes and to live more
simply. Our homes have a lot of insulation and stellar air tightness. Of
course, one wants to have fresh air, so we install ventilation systems with heat
recovery. We use solar thermal hydronic systems to produce hot water. Energy
efficientcy begins with good design.
