Sustainable living is the act of treating the earth as though she were our
mother. As with any child, taking is a natural act, but in the normal cycle of
life we must become adults, and all responsible adults must at some time begin
to give back to their mother to keep her healthy and capable of nurturing the
next generation, because this mothers love does not end with us. Let's learn to
live with her like we plan on staying here.
The Oswego Centers purpose is to
establish a teaching complex where 2 primary fronts are addressed, (1)
sustainable agriculture through the practice of Aquaponic and Hydroponic farming
methods and (2) The obesity epidemic by allowing children and adults to spend 30
days learning how to prepare and eat a healthy diet of Organic foods and through
teaching how to deal with stress through meditation and exercise.
