Peace River Wildlife Center (PRWC) is
dedicated to the intake and rehabilitation of all injured, sick and orphaned
wildlife. For those animals whose injuries are too extensive, the PRWC or
another qualified facility becomes their permanent home.
Much of what is done
at the PRWC takes place "behind the scenes" in our intensive care area. Here,
animals that have been injured are brought in, medically evaluated and treated.
Their successful rehabilitation depends, in part, on solitude and quiet. Hence,
this area is off limits to the public.
The Center is open to accept patients
everyday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with an after hours drop box. Self guided tours
are allowed from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
