The Prairie Crossing Learning Farm is a non-profit enterprise located in the
nationally recognized Prairie Crossing Conservation Community. With the help of
students and volunteers, we grow certified organic fruits and vegetables and
raise a flock of 300 laying hens on a 3 acre farm. Students from two local
schools come to the Learning Farm regularly for farm-based lessons. We also
offer summer camp programs, on-going volunteer opportunities, and several
seasonal events including a Mother's Day Organic Plant Sale. Organic eggs,
honey, and seasonal produce are available for purchase at the Learning Farm.
