Rational Animal is a non-profit organization focused on animal awareness and
relating issues. Rational Animal has developed a reputation New York City for
its creative, engaging, and popular media events and educational initiatives. We
work closely with the Mayor's Alliance for NYC's Animals as well as local media,
production, and creative companies. We also advocate for and on behalf of all
working animals in the city, including carriage horses and animals in
entertainment.
Rational Animal uses media, special events, and awareness
campaigns to engage and educate the public on the issues surrounding homeless
animals, working animals, and wildlife and communicate what actions people can
take to help animals in their communities. Our projects include the Orange
Ribbon for Animals awareness campaign.
