We are a Washington State Non-Profit. We are 100% volunteer run and operated.
We are a no kill rescue/"shelter". In order to help provide services to as many
parrots in need as we can, we use a foster system instead of a centralized
shelter facility. We serve all of Western Washington. We accept parrots of all
sizes, species, special needs, behavioral issues, past abuse and/or trauma, etc.
At this time, due to our structure, we turn NO bird away (though there might be
a slight waiting list, and emergencies are always priority). We work with local
city, county, and state officials, as well as other parrot rescues and
sanctuaries. Our sole goal is to provide any parrot in need with their perfect
forever home! All birds, unless they meet certain criteria, go through a 45 day
quarantine period. All birds receive a 30 day evaluation to determine if he/she
needs retraining, rehabilitation, or transfer to a sanctuary. We also have
professional bird groomers and profession bird trainers on "staff".
