The Sonoma Humane Society has cared for homeless, neglected and abused
companion animals for over 75 years. The Society serves the entire Sonoma County
area and depends solely on local community support. It receives no tax dollars
or funding from any national or government agency. The Center for Animals
features an Adoption & Education Center, Animal Hospital, Dog & Puppy
Training Center, Grooming Salon & Pet Day Spa, Boarding, Forget Me Not Farm
and more. We are a life-oriented shelter and never euthanize due to age or lack
of space. Our cage-free habitats for the animals provide spacious areas for
people and animals to get to know one another. We also feature a Forget Me Not
Farm of rescued farm animals, and we work with at-risk children and youth who
have been victims of violence or abuse. Come see what our Center for Animals is
all about. We are located in the wine country region of northern California in
Sonoma County.
