Spirit of the West Adventures based on Quadra Island British Columbia have been
providing quality, fun, safe and ecologically sound guided multi-day sea
kayaking tours since 1996. Our tours in the northern Vancouver Island area
provide endless opportunities to view Orca Whales, Black Bears, Eagles, a
plethora of intertidal life and so much more.
At Spirit of the West we
understand that many guests come on our kayaking tours to participate in a style
of trip that has minimum impacts on the environment. While we follow established
minimum impact practices during our tours, our ideals don’t stop at the back
door. We firmly believe that a business can operate successfully and still have
a minimal or positive impact on the environment. We are a certified Carbon
Neutral business and are members of 1 Percent for the Planet through which we
donate 1% of all our sales to non-profit environmental groups. To learn more
