I have eleven years experience in supporting parents during and after birth. I
make suggestions for labor progress, and help with relaxation, breathing,
massage, positioning, and other techniques for the mother's comfort. I am
independent and self-employed. As a doula, I am working for the mother and
father, not their caregiver or hospital.
These are the services I provide as
a doula:
Continuous emotional, physical and informational services
•2-3
in-home visits
•Unlimited telephone consultations
•On call 24-7 two weeks
before and two weeks after your due date
•Uninterrupted support during labor,
birth, and postpartum until mother and child are comfortably settled to
facilitate bonding
•Labor support with relaxation techniques, breathing,
massage, and natural alternatives
• Immediate initial breastfeeding support (if
breastfeeding) including up to one year after baby's birth
•One postpartum
follow-up in-hom visit one to four weeks after baby's birth.
