The Lazy Pig is a non profit organization which rescues and boards a variety of
animals. We have in our sanctuary a number of animals that were either abused or
simply discarded. We have 5 pigs, 8 nubian goats 1 sheep (dolly!) several cats,
5 beautiful dogs, several rabbits, a chinchilla and a guinea pig, for a total to
date of 51. We have a thrift store in Bayard, NM who's total revenues go to
feeding and sheltering the animals. It just barely does this, and, since we are
a tax free organization, we accept donations to help expand and defray
operationg costs. Upon entering our thrift store in Bayard you will see a quote
from the late Mahatma Gahndi where he said:
"The Greatness OF A Nation And It's
Moral Progress Can Be Judged By The Way In Which It's Animals Are Treated". We
