Wild Flax is the common name for camelina sativa. Camelina contains the ideal
2:1 ratio of omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids. Camelina also contains 7 times
more antioxidants than flax. Camleina is in the brassica family so it shares the
proven cancer fighting properties of cabbage, broccoli and other brassicas. The
high anti-oxidant content of wild flax enables it to stay fresh longer. It can
be used on your skin or eaten as salad oil or cooking oil. It does not go rancid
rapidly thereby enabling your body to absorb the nutrients rather than fighting
rancidity. Sunlight does not damage it so it soaks into your skin enabling all
of the micro-nutrients to absorb. Especially effective on eczema and psoriasis.
