The Wisdom Therapy Institute offers the Bay Area community a model of
psychotherapy that integrates the best practices of Western psychological
science and Eastern traditions.
The Wisdom Therapy Institute, founded by
Shani Robins, Ph.D., houses both a psychotherapy practice and a corporate
consultancy group. For the past decade, Wisdom Therapy has been empirically
shown to be a practical and effective method for significantly reducing anger,
anxiety, depression, phobias, and increasing well-being, mindfulness, Humility,
health, and enhanced communication.
At the Institute, licensed therapists,
interns, and trainees are matched to individuals, couples, and families based
upon the needs and preferences of the clients. We run multiple support groups,
workshops, and classes.
The Institute includes a teaching and research
facility that offers a wide range of clinical services on a sliding scale based
on income and need.
