design company, incorporating vintage and recycled components with positive
impact design.
Environmentally sound options I use for my jewelry:
Antique
and vintage are the most ecological choice, simply because no new materials were
mined to make them.
Recycled metals reduce the need for destructive mining.
Pearls have a relatively low impact on the environment. Cultured pearls have
even been used to clean water and reduce heavy-metal pollution.
Socially
conscious guidelines I follow:
I only purchase components and materials from
company's that pay a living wage.
I use absolutely no Chinese manufactured
product. The vast majority of materials I purchase are USA made.
