  Allen Birthing Center is a free-standing birth center, staffed by 3 certified nurse-midwives, located in historic downtown Allen offering prenatal care, labor support, delivery and exam of the newborn, postpartum care, well-woman exams, family planning, and primary care. Two cozy birthing suites are located upstairs with large birthing tubs available for waterbirths. "We know that bringing a baby into the world is a life-changing experience. We want to make that experience as safe and as comfortable as possible. It is our philosophy that birth is a normal process that needs very little intervention. Therefore, we support women throughout their pregnancy and labor to ensure their birth choices are respected."
