The Coop du Grand Orme is a community run environmental general store and community café space, supplying products of the highest environmental standards for the western region of Montreal, Quebec. The Coop has a wide variety of products from organic local foods to baby products, clothing, cleaning and personal care products (also available in bulk), gardening supplies, books and school supplies, etc. selected through a purchasing policy to minimise our environmental impact. Situated in Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue, Quebec, in a 175 year old French Canadian house which was renovated using environmental and traditional methods, it also houses a community café space with wifi internet which regularly houses workshops, activities and conferences on environmental and social issues.
