  We at EConsulting™ are in the process of creating an eco–conscious company. It (like democracy) is a goal to be attained and everyday, we try to make business decisions that reflect the type of company we want to become. Being green is not enough and often times, those companies that flaunt their "greenness" are on the wrong side of the tracks and are part of the problem. The concept of "being green" has become mainstream and is sadly used for marketing rather than being the philosophy and principles that guide the business in its day–to–day actions.
  
  This transformation led us to go back to our roots and we decided to provide products to help others develop or re-develop a green thumb through the selling of edible seeds, self-contained container gardens, and seedlings in 2007. As a company, we know that it's imperative that more food is grown locally and that the youth learn how to grow food because it is an essential part of human civilization.
  
  We decided to think "outside the box" with the seeds we sell, and use packaging that is multi–functional, long lasting, and durable. Single–use disposable products and petro–chemicals/synthetics have made their toll on the health of the environment and humans for far too long. We package our fruit, vegetable, herb, and flower seeds in a clean Mason jar with newspaper surrounding it because (most) seeds have to be kept in a dry, dark place. We feel that by purchasing seeds in this manner, you will not have to buy additional products to store your seeds.
