  Shady Grove Ranch is dedicated to producing the best quality, most nutrient-dense meats and eggs in East Texas and Shreveport. We emphasize the use of minerals to prevent disease and to maximize health of our animals and therefore ourselves. We take a common-sense approach to raising our animals so that the meats they produce are tasty, healthy, and nourishing. We do not use soy, genetically engineered feeds, chemicals, routine medications, confinement practices, or artificial growth stimulants. We select breeds that produce tender, tasty, well-marbled meats. Our beef is 100% grass-fed and grass-finished. Our pork is soy-free and raised exclusively on pasture. Our chicken, turkey, and eggs are soy-free and raised exclusively on pasture. All our animals have daily exposure to sunshine, fresh-air, and green grass. We choose local, small meat processors to ensure quality of our cuts and humane treatment of our animals. We sell by-the-cut and in bulk at the farm year-round. Call to schedule a visit!
