- Description:
We are a small organic farm in a new location on the 350 acre historical “Rory Dari” in Creswell! We specialize in rare heirloom tomatoes and squash and sell fruit and seed and products from breeds listed critically endangered by the American Livestock Breeds Conservancy. We are grateful to have received a Good Husbandry Grant for our hatchery from Animal Welfare Approved, an organization we are proud to represent! Ancona ducks have a unique speckled or broken color pattern and range of colors, are as a productive as chickens and lay larger and more concentrated eggs, 4lbs average at 8 weeks with better flavor and less fat than a Pekin! Delaware chickens were commonly used for broiler production in the 40s and are a also an ideal dual purpose bird. We offer eggs, meat, ducklings and chicks. Shares are available from our organic grass only milk cow named Sundae! Fewer than 1000 Dutch Belteds worldwide, she is due to calf early March! Milk is rich, globules of fat are exceptionally small and easy to digest.
