Broody Hen Farm sells delicious, naturally raised Bourbon Red heritage turkeys
for Thanksgiving and Christmas. The turkeys are raised outdoors on pasture so
they can roam and forage for greens. They are fed a vegetarian diet made of
locally raised whole grains. The turkeys are born here on the farm and are never
fed any antibiotics or hormones.
Turkeys are available FRESH via farm pick-up
(we do not ship) on Wednesday (Nov. 26th) from
7 a.m. - 7 p.m., or on Thursday
(Nov. 27th, Thanksgiving Day) from 7 a.m. - 11 a.m.
I cannot guarantee the
exact weight of any turkey, but here are the ranges:
Prices are as follows:
11 to 13 lbs, $85.
9 to 10 lbs, $75.
7.5 to 9 lbs, $65.
6.5 to 7.5 lbs, $50.
We may be able to do deliveries by advance arrangement, but the charge will be
an additional $35 per turkey for deliveries.
