By Nieves produces a natural, handmade body care line formulated with organic
ingredients and served with a twist. Founded in 2008, the line is the creation
of Nieves Rathbun. Nieves started making her own products in 2001, after finding
a lack of those in the marketplace that were both effective and safe. In
developing the products she wants to use herself, Nieves has discovered that
other people are looking for the same solutions.
By Nieves products are made
with simple, nutrient-rich oils and essential oils, all of which are very
stable. Nothing in the By Nieves line contains any emulsifiers, surfactants, or
synthetic preservatives. The lack of unwanted chemicals is designed right into
the formulas themselves, which never mix oil and water and rely instead on
keeping oils with oils and dry ingredients dry until use.
