Dr Carol Hamilton has been in practice with children, adolescents, and adults
for 20 years. She offers honest and non-judgmental common sense approaches to
life issues with a focus on balance, optimal wellness, and respectful
relationship with the environment, nature, and other creatures. She honors the
complexity of relationships between couples, families, and members of
communities. Dr. Hamilton is very experienced with most mental health diagnoses
and takes a holistic and systemic approach to treatment. Attention to physical
health, diet, sleep, and exercise is supported. Dr. Hamilton has mastered many
approaches to psychotherapy including mindfulness based therapy, guided imagery,
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Somatic Experiencing, and
Somatic Transformation. In particular she seeks to enlist the creative capacity
of clients in order to maximize outcomes. She respects diversity in life style
and spiritual choices.
