Since 1988, the Community Supported Garden at Genesis Farm has provided an
opportunity for a community of people to take responsibilty for supporting a
farm. Our approximately 300 members pay a pre-determined fee for a share in the
harvest, which include a huge variety of incredibly delicious vegetables and
fruits. Our farmers use biodynamic methods and do not use synthetic pesticides
or fertilizers. Our work not only increases the quality of the soil, but also
enhances the quality of our relationships to the land and each other. The farm
is a working alternative to the injustices and ecological devastation of the
present market system. It is a social as well as an economic alternative, and
it's a beautiful, family-friendly place as well. Come on out and visit -- a call
in advance is helpful.
