The Coop du Grand Orme is a community run environmental general store and
community caf� space, supplying products of the highest environmental standards
for the western region of Montreal, Quebec.
The Coop has a wide variety of
products from organic local foods to baby products, clothing, cleaning and
personal care products (also available in bulk), gardening supplies, books and
school supplies, etc. selected through a purchasing policy to minimise our
environmental impact.
Situated in Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue, Quebec, in a 175 year
old French Canadian house which was renovated using environmental and
traditional methods, it also houses a community caf� space with wifi internet
which regularly houses workshops, activities and conferences on environmental
and social issues.
Come learn what you can do to reduce your environmental
footprint and visit our eco-renovated space. Have an organic fair-trade coffee
or tea in our edible forest gardens and enjoy nature in town! Check out our
