Since
2008, Farm & Fork Society has been dedicated to building
an integrated community comprised of their farmer partners and members who
pre-purchase shares of organic/sustainable crops on an seasonal
basis.
Serving
residents of Essex and Union Counties the group offers vegetables, fruit,
poultry, farm fresh eggs, pasta, cider, mushrooms and bread shares. The
seasonal produce comes directly from the farm and picked-up every Wednesday
from June 7 through November 15 in downtown
Millburn.
Shares Offered
Vegetable
Share -- Certified organic vegetable delivery from Circle Brook
Farm in Andover, NJ. Basic share, on average 8
to 9 items.
Premium, on average contain 12 -13 items. 24
weeks.
Fruit Share -- Eco-certified fruit from Breezy Hill
Orchard, NY. Shares will include cherries, strawberries, raspberries,
blackberries, peaches, plums, nectarines, rhubarb, apples, pears, and
cranberries. 23 weeks.
Poultry Full Share -- One whole fresh
organic, free range, antibiotic and hormone free chicken (Approx 4 lbs frozen)
from Knoll Krest Farm for 16 weeks starting August 2.
Mushroom Share -- 1/2 pound of farmed/foraged
mushrooms from The Foraged Feast, Maplewood NJ. 24 weeks. Varieties
vary.
Bread Share -- Wood fired, rustic breads from
Bobolink Dairy, Milford NJ. Organic, cold risen with natural starters. Two
loaves per week, varieties vary. 24 weeks.

Egg
Share -- Eggs (pastured, free range, antibiotic and hormone free,
brown) from Knoll Krest Farm in NY. One dozen a week for 23
weeks.
Pasta Share -- Fresh homemade pasta from Knoll
Krest Farm in NY. 12 oz per week, a different shape and flavor each week for 23
weeks.
Poultry Half Share -- One whole fresh free range,
antibiotic-hormone free chicken (Approx 4 lbs/frozen) from Knoll Krest Farm
every other week. 8 weeks starting August 2.
Cider Share -- Fresh cider from Breezy Hill
Orchard. 1/2 gallon per week. Fall Season Only - 9/1-11/18
Mushroom Half Share -- 1/2 pound farmed/foraged
mushrooms from The Foraged Feast every other week for 12 weeks. Varieties
vary.
*You must be a vegetable share, fruit share, poultry full share,
mushroom full share or bread share member to add on any supplemental
share.
Additional shares are offered during the season. Organic maple
syrup/honey from Green Mountain Maple Sugar
Refinery in VT and Beef and Pork from River Bend
Farm in Peapack NJ.
