A graduate of Samford University (B.A., Family Studies), Marisa Dempsey is a
Certified Doula (DONA) and Childbirth Educator (CAPPA), and has worked with
major OB/GYN practices in Wilmington and Rocky Mount as well as hospitals across
Eastern North Carolina, including Operation Special Delivery, an organization
providing pro bono doula services to wives of deployed military personnel.
Marisa's experience as a pastor's wife, volunteer, doula, and childbirth
educator over the last ten years is testament to her heart for families and
children, with a particular passion for newborns and first-time parents.
