I am a builder of environmentally friendly furniture.
My work features:
Reclaimed lumber, most from barn siding and barn timbers is made into
eco-friendly furniture such as Farm Tables and cabinets. I also sell a line of
Adirondack chairs made from re-sawn cedar logs. More recently I am adding
reclaimed tamarack outdoor furniture made from barn beams and posts. I also work
with FSC certified eucalyptus. All my work is hand made in my workshop using
traditional methods of joinery, mortise and tenon with pegs, hand cut dovetails
(with saw and chisel not a router).
Finishes range from eco friendly no to
low VOC paints and clear finishes to furniture oils such as Tung oil and
beeswax/carnuba oil
