King Hill Farm is a family farm and homestead located in North Penobscot, Maine.
The farm has been growing organic food for over 30 years. We believe in the
value of healthy soils, which promote vigor in the plants and animals that grow
here. Besides fully mineralized, organic vegetables we raise a variety of
grass-fed, free-range livestock. Our animals are exclusively fed organic feed.
We have a summer CSA, a winter CSA, and attend the Blue Hill Farmers Market.
Throughout the fall and winter our delicious root crops (carrots, juice carrots,
beets, rutabagas, parsnips, and turnips) can be purchased at the farm or at your
local co-op or health foor store. Our pork, beef, and lamb can be purchased by
the side or as individual cuts.
