Since 2005 the founders of this Non Profit have developed a model which has been
duplicated all across the nation. With
K-6 children as their focus, Pinky
Pink's Ink has expanded from a home based operation into the first Enviro-Store
in Northern Nevada. PPI otherwise known as Pollution Prevention Innovation
embraces other local non profits & organizations involved in
enviromental areas
of their expertise and advocates them on the community bulletin board in their
small store. Cartridge Recovery for businesses large and small is Pinky's
Forte'. A life sized mascot visits participating elementary schools in and
around the region and educates our youth and community on the importance of
recycling while networking at special events like Earth Day and Clean Air Day in
Reno. The "Rethink Like Pinky Pink" Program is recognized by Region 9's
Enviromental Protection A
